WHAT WE DO

Our approach is built on the QUALITY of service that we offer under the following criteria:
the safety of the people we transport,
the comfort of our vehicles,
the flexibility in reserving and availability of service,
 the training of our staff.

We are the first specialized transportation company to have received ISO 9001 Version 2000 certification by AFAQ.
  • Safety:
  • All of our vehicles are specially equipped and modified by certified car-body makers.
Consequently, they are equipped with wheelchair locking systems and safety harnesses for the people we transport.
In addition, the training that our chauffeurs/accompaniers have received has enabled them to learn attitudes and reflexes that make driving safer for our passengers.
  • Comfort:
  • All vehicles are equipped with direct wheelchair access (ramp access), smooth suspension, air-conditioning, tinted windows, and are driven by drivers who apply the safe driving techniques.
  • Flexibility:
  • Our clientele has the option of making ongoing reservations and can count on a short response time.
We can be efficient because we are equipped with cell phones and our organization has enabled us to have a chauffeur/accompanier always ready.
Finally, we no longer have any geographical limitations.
  • Training:
  • All of our chauffeurs/accompaniers have first aid certification and undergo special in-company training dealing with general knowledge about handicaps, safety, service, handling, and communication.
    OUR ACTIVITIES:

Nowadays, different public and private organizations have put their trust in us and have enabled us to diversify our activities.
  • Agreements:
  • A large number of health insurance organizations have signed agreements allowing their handicapped members to be transported in the best conditions.

The Provincial Councils have entrusted us with transporting handicapped children to regular schools and also signed an agreement with our company. That's how we transport elementary to college age students on a daily basis.

Our experience is not limited to just "government-regulated" transportation, but has also been proven in other activities.

The transportation unions hired us after a public bid for providing on-demand public services.
  • Other partners:
  • Public and private retirement homes: We regularly organize group excursions for elderly people living in retirement homes.

Specialized establishments: Once again, we also intervene daily at these establishments to accompany individuals who are often times severely handicapped (multi-handicapped) and need our skills and specific know-how.

Associations: The Association of Paralytics of France (APF), the French Association Against Muscular Dystrophy (AFM), the ADAPEI, the Valentin Hauy Association (for the blind), the Monegasque Association of Motor Handicaps (AMHM)... can also vouch for us.

Tourism: We also organize trips at all of our sites, including for our foreign customers.
The Cannes Film Festival 1998: During the Festival, we had the pleasure of transporting Mrs. Haether Rose, the main heroine of the film "Dance To My Song" by providing her with a comfortable vehicle and a chauffeur/accompanier who spoke fluent English, once again entailing the use of our specific skills and know-how.

We are directly linked to the Nice Cote d'Azur airport by free telephone stations for handicapped travelers. This system is one of a kind in France.

That is how we have developed this activity through Ulysse Travel

We have solid experience with our clientele who can be deemed as "handicapped" or an individual with reduced mobility, with multiple specific aspects: from a wheelchair-ridden child with muscular dystrophy and a tracheostomy to an elderly person who has difficulty getting around, to a blind person.
